This directive covers early Kolb Aircraft before 1992 that
has the overhead control system, specifically the
FireStar model. Other models, such as the KXP, or any Kolb
model with the overhead controls are included. Over time, the
single bolt connection could possible break during flight,
causing loss of control.

The fix is pictured to the left. You will need a pair, one
for each bell crank. We produce a kit which includes the parts
needed.
